Vegan Chocolate Brownies

Vegan Grain Free/Nut Free Chocolate Brownies

This is a 20 minute recipe that tastes amazing and is full of goodness. It is vegan, nut free, grain free (apart from a drop of oat milk) and refined sugar free…. And I promise it tastes incredible!

Course: Snack
  • 225g rinsed black beans (1 carton or can)
  • 1 cup of pitted medjool dates (approx 8)
  • 1/2 cup / 40g raw cacao powder
  • 2 tbs milled flaxseeds
  • 1/4 coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup oat milk
  1. Preheat the oven to 180C

    Put all the ingredients into a blender and whiz until completely broken down into a gooey dough

    Line a 20cm baking tin with parchment paper ensuing that it over hangs the edges so you can lift out easily

    Pour the mixture onto the parchment paper and spread evenly

    Add some decoration if desired

    Pop into the oven for 15 minutes

    Remove from oven and cut into 12 slices while warm, then allow to cool

Naomi's Tips

Store in a sealed tupperware container for up to 7 days but I doubt they will last as long as that!!
