This smoothie bowl is packed with so much goodness is guaranteed to set you up for the day ahead! It might look like something extracted from Shrek, but don’t be put off by that and decorate with lots of prettiness like I have and I am sure you will love the taste and all the benefits you will receive from the goodness within.

I have used Wheatgrass for its alkalising and detoxification properties (although it has heaps more)

I have used acai as it is abundant in antioxidants which essential to fight the free radical damage from toxins.

I have used Maca for its energy enhancing and stimulating benefits.

Use the superfoods that feel right for you and give you the superpowers you need!

Course: Breakfast
Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup filter water
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 generous handful of spinach
  • 1 small handful kale
  • 1 tsp wheatgrass powder
  • 1 tsp acai powder
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
Instructions
  1. Add all the smoothie ingredients to a high speed blender and blitz until completely smooth.

    Pour into a bowl and decorate with pretty stuff, serve and enjoy immediately.

Naomi's Tips

The texture of this makes it a smoothie bowl (so a smoothie that is slightly too thick to drink) and this texture is achieved by adding less liquid than a regular smoothie recipe so bear this in mind when creating your smoothie bowl.
