Adaptogenic Fudge

Times are anxious and overwhelming as C19 is pushing society indoors and into isolation.  This is a great recipe which is easy to make and is uplifting in many ways.

You can change what is going on out there but you can change how you react to the stress, I personal love the power of adaptogens and how they bring me back into balance.

Adaptogen Fudge

A delicious fudge that takes 5 minutes to make and can be eaten straight from the freezer!

Ingredients
  • 10 Pitted Medjool Dates 
  • 1/2 Cup Nut Butter (I used Almond)
  • 1/4 Cup Raw Organic Cacao powder
  • 2 Tbsp. Coconut Oil  melted
  • Pinch Sea Salt
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla powder or essence
  • 1 Tbsp. Ashwaganda Powder (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp. Maca Powder (optional)
  • Decortions such as Cacao nibs to decorate
Instructions
  1. Add all the ingredients to a high speed blender or food processor and blend until the dates have broken down and all the ingredients have full combined.

  2. Line a small baking tin or tupper-wear container with grease proof paper and pour the mixture in.  Flatten with the back of a spoon to a thickness of approx 1cm.  

  3. Top with pretty edible decor if desired and cut into squares (really important to cut before you freeze)

  4. Put in the freezer for about 1-2 hours to harden before eating.

  5. Store in the freezer for up to 3 months

  6. Naomi's Tip:  Store in the freezer to stop yourself eating too much.
